From 7 to 11 September 2026, Trends in MAGnetism will take place, an international conference bringing together researchers from around the world to discuss the latest developments in the fields of magnetism, magnetic materials, nanomagnetism and spintronics.
The event will provide a multidisciplinary forum spanning fundamental physics to emerging materials and technologies, addressing topics such as spintronics, magnonics, topological magnetism, ultrafast phenomena and unconventional computing.
The five-day conference will feature invited talks and unsolicited contributions, poster sessions, scientific discussions and networking opportunities, with the aim of fostering the exchange of ideas and the emergence of new collaborations within the international magnetism community.
Trends in MAGnetism is organised by Christian Rinaldi, associate professor in the Department of Physics, in collaboration with the University of Messina, and will take place at the Politecnico di Milano.
