15 new highly rewarding PhD positions open!

Politecnico di Milano is partner of the PHAST consortium, composed of 10 research institutions, 2 hospitals and 8 industries from 7 European Countries. Among them, stand out specialized companies as well as global players in the field such as Horiba, Philips and Zeiss.

PHAST will train 15 Reserchers with a multidisciplinary programme in the field of biophotonics to face the challenges of the future of the medical community in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and to significantly improve the quality of life for society.

The key objective is to offer our society a team of highly skilled scientists in biophotonics through a personalized PhD career development plan.

The 4 mains scientific objectives of the PHAST-ETN action are:

  1. IN-VITRO DIAGNOSIS
  2. TISSUE DIAGNOSTICS AND FUNCTIONAL MONITORING
  3. MICROSCALE CANCER MONITORING
  4. MACROSCALE THERAPY EFFECTIVENESS MONITORING
