o He was born in Modena (Italy) in 1968.
o In 1994 he graduated cum laude in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi).
o In 1999 he obtained the PhD title in Physics at Politecnico di Torino.
o November 1999- February 2005, Researcher in Experimental Physics at PoliMi.
o March 2005 - January 2017, Associate Professor in Experimental Physics at PoliMi.
o Since February 2017 he has been Full Professor in Experimental Physics at PoliMi.
• Research Activity:
o Published more than 250 papers (more than 100 on international peer-reviewed journals).
o Presented more than 200 contributions to international congresses (more than 20 invited talks).
o Bibliometric indices: h-index 33, 3292 total citations by 1896 documents since 1996 (from Scopus).
