Femtosecond laser writing is a powerful and versatile technique for the realization of integrated optical circuits and for micro and nanostructuring of novel transparent materials. The thesis will target the design and fabrication of micro and nanodevices for applications in smart sensing, renewable energy, and cognitive photonics.
