Following the success of the visit to Optec S.p.A., visits to companies and start-ups operating in the photonics sector are back. The initiative is organised by Daniela Comelli, associate professor in the Department of Physics, as part of the 360 CARLA (https://carlahub.eu/) project.
The second visit will take place on 25 March at 5.30 pm at Ephos, an innovative start-up that designs and manufactures glass optical chips for data centres dedicated to artificial intelligence and quantum technologies.
The event is aimed at students on bachelor’s, master’s, PhD and post-doctoral programmes, with the aim of raising awareness of career opportunities in the field of photonics, the latest technological developments and the training pathways available.
