Mattia Russo new researcher in the Department of Physics

Mattia Russo, new Researcher of the Physics Department, wins "Young Researcher Notice, Seal of Excellence 2024" grant allocated by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) within the scope of the National recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) with the project titled "Pulse Engineered cone-suRface-shaped for Study chargE-diffusion with Ultrafast Spectroscopy" (PERSEUS).

The goal of the project PERSEUS is to develop a new experimental technique that combines the traditional ultrafast spectroscopy methods with space-time strucured light pulse to study the propagation of electrical charges in innovative materials for photovoltaic applications.
The new technique will allow to multidimensionally investigate the diffusion process along time, space and frequency coordinates by evaluating the production of free charges useful for photovoltaic processes.
