Quantum Italian Forum – 5 February 2026

On 5 February, the Quantum Italian Forum – Future prospects and synergies between academia, industry and institutions, a workshop organised by the Department of Physics and the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, will take place at the Politecnico di Milano.

The event aims to present recent developments in quantum innovation and the related prospects for evolution in the ICT sector. Quantum communications and computers are the pillars of this transformation, already supported by concrete results that are driving application development with a view to future market availability.

The workshop will also feature testimonials from the world of research and industry, with a particular focus on the main national initiatives, their connection with the European and international scenario, and their evolution after the PNNR.

The event will be held in the Aula Emilio Gatti, Building 20, starting at 9:30 a.m.
