Paolo Pozzi is a researcher working in the development and usage of optical microscopy systems for biomedical applications.

His main research interest is the development of three dimensional fluorescence imaging systems. More specifically, he develops spatial phase modulation methods for adaptive microscopy systems, allowing for dynamic management of the light, and for the correction of optical aberrations induced by thick and turbid samples.

He graduated in Physics at the University of Milan-Bicocca. Before coming to Politecnico di Milano he was a Ph.D. student at the Universities of Milan-Bicocca

and Pavia, and later a postdoctoral researcher in the Universities of Delft (Netherlands) and Modena e Reggio Emilia.
